My last bike was a BMW with heated grips and I had a heated vest. I have to admit they spoiled me completely. Just yesterday I called Gerbing and they are sending me out a catalog so I can order electric gloves and the electric jacket liner. It's one of those things that once you've had them you can't go without.

Hey Seth!

I'm up here near Dry Prong, La

I got a dance pole, disco lights, mirrors, and pro stage music system at the house. We have tons o fun here! Biker trash only!....In about 2 weeks I'll run over to Austin and ****** my new Road King, but till then I'm riding a 1200 Sporty.

I hope we can get together and do stupid guy stuff. But I'll warn you, ain't no women allowed in my house unless they have at least on tatt and hang their thong from the ceiling above the dance pole....It's a Rule!

Seth,I went and read your whole post about the party at your house in Nov.....I'll be there! I ain't rich either but by God I'm real! and I too got my own place where no one messes with me either. If you make it up here we gonna eat like pigs and do whatever we can get away with on two wheels.

We got some good riding weather coming up and I hope you can get up here and party/crash at my place whenever you want....Hell, I'll even introduce you to one of my ex wives to keep you company.

Now, here is the best part....Don Scully is your assistant Chief o Police down there in Cottonport, huh?...I've known him for years and he is full o chit.....youtell that fat sucker Keith owes him a bitch slap cause he never visits or calls and if he messes with you then I'll sic his first wife on him and tell all his kids where he lives!

If you aren't buying the "heated" variety, you might try various ski-type gloves; http://www.columbia.com/Subcategory....20&viewAll= is an example.
You might also check out: http://www.motorcyclecruiser.com/acc...son/index.html for motorcycle specific reviews.
Personally, I wear Columbia ski gloves - and if it gets really cold or for long cold rides, wear a pair of rubber/laytex gloves under cold weather gloves.
Of course, how cold does it really get in Louisiana?????

I have a pair of Gerbing's...You will not find a glove that will keep your hands warm unless they are electric!!! Gerbing's all the way!

I considered the heated gloves but I saw the hassle my wife went through running wires through her jacket when she used them and also the tendency to forget thatshe wasplugged into the bike. I fitted heated grips and they worked well for me last year. I liked them because they were on the bike all the time and ready for use. H-D has a number of them on their accessory site
