Finally took the wifes 883 out with the new windshield and it is a great improvement on arm/upper body strain. with the flat-track bars, it was only good for about an hour on the freeway before the windshield, now fuel is the limiting factor.

the stupid helmet is in the way we cant see the smile on her face.

 

A windshield is one of the best add-on's I have ever gotten for my riding. Gotten so that I rarely ride without it now.

 

I love it when the weather gets cold, and its remarkable what you can hear with it on.

A winshield is one of the next things I want for my bike....I traved 725 miles round trip this passed week and I wore a 3/4 helmet with a face shield and I was surprised how much better it was than the lil 1/2 helmet.
A few friends have the sheild on their bikes and they say on a longer ride it sure does help to keep you feeling better/fresh...they say your doesnt have to fight the wind so much

I have one comming tomorrow, everybody says you'll never take it off but I think I'll use it for long rides and winter riding, off for short rides etc.

My wife insisted on a windshield, she rode a year without one and hated it. She loves her windshield.

If you wife wants to ride with that helmet and those gloves then that's her decision. She's smart!!!
