The windshield on the Sportster was good for an extra 100 miles/day. We put it on in L.A. and continued on to Texas.

Arm strain is the only redeming factor I have found in the weenie shield. But, that was the only reason I bought one. So, it works!! I'm sure it will also help in the cold, I didn't have it last winter, and so far, it's still in the freekin 90's here!! Will summer EVER end.

Don't complain, you may find winter here faster then you think and then you'll complain you can't ride.

Windshields are great for speeds over 55mph. I really just leave it on all the time.

I find myself leaving it on, even though its a sport type handlebar mount easy off. Great in colder weather.

Mine came with the bike & I rode it home 1,200 miles. Took it off for one 200 milecruise and put it back on that night. Only take it off when riding in town. Wear a 1/2 lid and goggles with it, can't stand my full face because of the weight and wind noise (yes, it's a Fulmer).
Where is she riding? looks like the Lavina/Acton area.
