Rubber Mount Retrofit?
Has anyone retrofit and older sporty to add rubber engine mounts? Is it even possible?

Starting with the model year 2004, the Sportster frame was redesigned and rubber mounts were incorporated. I'm not aware of any retrofit kits for the pre 04 models. There is really no place to put them.

I was wondering this also. Didnt think it could be done but would love a 04+ 1200r engine. Guess I just need to black mine out.

Two Totally different frames on the old rigid mounts the engine actually sorta was part of the frame I was amazed in the frame differences between my 03 and 07 sportsters
