How diffuclt is it to change one tank for another? I have just bought the bigger tank for my 883 and i was woundering how hard it would be.

Assuming it fits your bike, it isn't hard at all. You might have to take the seat off, then disconnect the fuel line, unbolt the old tank and put the new one on. You may have to swap the petcock over too. Big Crescent wrench with some duct tape if your petcock is chrome. You might drain the old tank first to make it easier to move.

It must be nice to have money to burn. I don't think I'll ever understand these questions that start with "I bought this" followed by "will it work". Is this like the New Math they teach in school these days? Seems like back a$$ logic to me. [:-]

Ridgid-
No big deal at (again assuing fit is correct).
Remove seat.
CLOSE PETCOCK
Remove grounding wire/ near rear of tank under seat.
Remove overflow/vent line on the right side of tank.
Remove fuel line and little line behind it on left side of tank.
Two bolts(front and rear) I believe require a 5/16" allen wrench and a 1/2" wrench or socket with extension works best.
Lift.

Easy!

ps- carefull of the flat washers on the rear bolt- harder than heck to find them if they fall into engine crevices.
