Snapped a ground feeler off.

Snapped a ground feeler off.
I snappeda ground feeler off going around some twisties on my Nightster. Anyone know what the part number is on those? I'd rather drag those then the exhaust bracket like I was after I lost it.
The Nightster isn't the best "canyon carver" but it is pretty fun in the twistites. I spent 11 years on sportbikesI need to get my fix!

I'm surprised you both
a) like the looks of the Nightster and
b) didn't buy a 1200R instead
since you came from sport bikes.
The R isn't lowered in front or rear, so it has the most ground clearance of the Sportsters. You'd have to try hard to scrape, and, if you did, it's just the pegs that scrape.

No not the peg, the thing that sticks down from the peg. See pic.
Yeah I'm surprised I liked the Nightster too, but as soon as I seen it in person I liked it. I wanted to try something different after riding sportbikes for so long. I guess Imight have made the wrong choice, but I really do enjoy the Nightster.

You didn't make the wrong choice. I'm not saying it's a bad bike or anything, I'm just saying I would have thought a sport biker would go for the R since it's the "sporty" Sportster.
For the record, I like the looks of the Nightster, too. And at least you didn't buy a Custom LOL (just kidding all you Custom riders)

RE: Snapped a ground feeler off.
I want to replace it because that “feeler’ gave me a sense of how low I was. I don’t have more clearance now that it’s gone, the peg would fold up a little when the feeler touched warning me I was low enough. Now that it’s gone I’m rubbing the exhaust bracket and that thing doesn’t give. I liked having the feeler because it let me know I was low and if I went any further down I was going to start rubbing parts that don’t give (ie: too much lean angle on the exhaust bracket and the rear wheel will lose grip on the road.) Now the only warning I have is the bracket.
