Sorry for posting this in Sportster should have been Softail

temps here in NY are in the low 30's but couldn't wait any longer to try out the new upgraded Progressive front and back. Definitely a different ride for sure. The 422 in the rear aren't that much different except lowering the back an inch but the drop in front springs are night and day improvement. No more front wheel dive when stopping and feels tighter in turns. Thumbs up for those springs.

Front spring installation was not difficult if you listen to the mechanical guys here on the forum. I thought they just drop in......not the case. I learned a lot about my forks reading and listening here and doing it myself rather than the 400 labor at the shop.

Working alone I was concerned about getting that fork cap off and back on. I followed the directions, cut the spacers to 3.25 inches, BelRay 10 wt. 150mm from top of fork tube tight coils in first. Everything went back in the tube with very little force necessary.

Best upgrade so far.
