Anyone have this windshield? I had some money left over from insurance that I had to spend or lose, so I put it into a windshield. It was the only affordable option. I thinks its fugly, but was curious how well the design worked. The windshield I trashed was the larger "Heritage" style shield.

 

I also ride an XL1200R and I use the Quick-Detach windshield to extend both ends of the riding season ~and I love it!

 

That's good to here. Is it he tear drop shaped shield? Got a pic?

 

My shield is the full size detachable sold by Harley for the Sportster, not the smaller one. It's not as large as the Touring models, but not as small as the Sport. It's this one: http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US

That's the one I had and I loved it, but I had to buy the smaller one due to money constraints. I guess 'a' shield is better than none at all in some situations.

That one should do you just fine.

 

It's just really small and has me concerned it won't be enought. The aerodynamics look better, but the one you have looks much better IMO.

 

I ended up getting the Super Sport windshield and ..... I like it! Looks good on a Sporty, not too big and still provides the same coverage or percieved coverage as before. I'll take some pics this week end.

 

What do you think about the Low Profile windshield, its comes to about my chest area... I need to take a highway trip and need to get a windshield,,, It sells for 289. but on sale for 113...
