Default Gettin Mini apes soon

Got a nice little refund check from an insurance prescription deal today and gonna use it to have mini apes put on the 07 1200c . Oh boy can't wait for the slightly more laid back ride it will create. Woo Hoo!!!!!

I have the mini's on my 05, and I couldn't be happier. Don't know if you are planning on have the stealership do it, but it's a pretty easy thing to do yourself. I did it all in about3 hours and I had never done something like it before. Anyway you do it, if that's your style of riding then you are gonna love em..

daddycoolj - Have you decided which ones you're putting on? Please post your progress as I'm considering putting mini apes on mine this winter.

fkstk181 - mind telling which ones you used?

douge_2000, I got these from J&P cycles http://www.jpcycles.com/productgroup...D-DA313C629029. Also got the 4 inch wiring extension kit, no soldering needed, just plug ins. Since I needed to replace all the lines (throttle, idle, clutch, brake) I swithed them all out the stainless braided. It's not a very cheap procedure, but I saved some bucks doing it myself. In case you are wondering, I went +4 with the lines, though with the brake line I probably could have gotten away with +2. Everything was pretty straightforward using just the manual, I had a buddy who's a good wrench come by after the fact just to make sure I had all the lines adjusted properly. Let me know if you have any other ?'s.

fkstk181 - Thanks! Those are the same mini apes I've been looking at. Good information on the lines and the install since I'll be doing it myself. Any pix?

I have the same bars on my 883L.

But I wish I had gone with 14" or maybe 16" rise bars. So I may do that this winter.

I love mine, much better than the stock buckhorns I used to have on it.
