Hauling a Sporty in a truck bed

RE: Hauling a Sporty in a truck bed
I usually compress my forks most of the way down, but not all the way. You don't want them to move easily or if you hit a big bump they will compress then come back up and possibly break your straps. Basically, you shouldn't be able to make your forks move if you push down on them as hard as you can.
Also, make sure you use a tie strap to hold the ramp while you are loading/unloading. You definitley don't want the ramp to come off the truck while you are doing either.

I wasn't drinkin'...operating on about 5 hours sleep in the last 2 days. I just needed to have a laugh. Plus I hate hearing all of the jokes about how: "All Harley riders MUST have a pickup truck, because that's the way a Harley usually travels."
