I still think wearing pants while polishing out scratches is better than wearing tight whitey skivies. The neighbors do too.

I never worried too much about "spider web" / "daily drive" / "swirl mark" scratches. Keeping the bike in concourse condition was too much work forme;I just want to ride.

Kudos for wantingto keep your scoot looking showroom new.

Step one is avoid scratches by using top notch cleaning stuff.

Scratched paint can be smoothed with someserious polishing. After a good polish, youcan "hide"scratches withpolishing glaze. Harley sells polishing glaze; glazegive the paint anicy look and makes scratches muchharder to see. That's whatHarleyuses to sheen up the paint on showroom floor bikes...that's what the salesman told me anyway.

Griot's garage sells all top notch stuffolishes, waxes, glazes and more. Everything I've ever purchased from Griot's just seems abit better than anything else I've evertried. They even sell littlebooks on how to wash, dry, polish, wax and glaze your paint properly.

www.griotsgarage.com

PS you don't want to do a serious polish too often, you can wear through the paint.Polish is like super ultra fine sandpaper, it "sands" down the paint.Even the cocourse car competitors only do a full polish cnce or twice a year.
