Pull-Back Risers for '05 Roadster?

I tried adding washers under my stock risers just to see what would happen. Adding justone inch of washers caused my brake line to almost start kinking and the same on the clutch cable when handlebars were turned all the way. The throttle cables were fine and it looked like I had alittle bit more room with the wiring. I too want to add 4 - 41/2" pull back risers on my Roadster but I definetly am going to need to change out the clutch cable and brake line, which is a one piece unit that splits off for the dual front disc. That alone is not cheap, so for now I am leaving it stock until I can justify the cost in doing the mod. I like my stock bars but it would be nice if they were a little closer and higher.
Maybe some Roadster owners out therecan chine in that have done the change.

I dont know about the roadster but my 05 883 I put 4.5 inch pullback risers on with no problem everything is pretty tight but it all works .My only problem was the speedo it was to straight up and down.I cut a 1inch plate out of some scrap stainless steel and bent it slightly then attached it in place of the speedo then attatched the speedo to the plate..I got the risers from Moto-Sport for 29.00.on line at motosport.com.Hope this helps

Iput 4 inch pullback risers on my bike, but the speedometer position is straight up and down. All my cables reached but I removed them because of the speedometer. I later found they make a bracket to change the position of the speedometer, but I went with drag bars and straight up risers.
