It's a BEAUTIFUL day here in Nashville. Temps in the upper 70's and low 80's all day. Not a cloud in the sky, and the rest of my day is clear. Time to ride!!

But which direction?

East: I can be on back roads in about 2 minutes, and not hafta to deal with any major traffic all day. Beautiful area to ride in, but I ride those roads all the time.

North: I can get to KY on some pretty nice backroads. When I get to the State Line, I can take my helmet off, and ride around all day with my hair in the air. Plus cigerettes are $7.00 a carton cheaper up there.

West: I hafta ride from the extreme East side of Nashville to the West side of Nashville, before I get outta traffic (about 30 miles)....Nah..doesn't sound good.

South: mmmm...I rode to Birmingham, AL (200 miles) and back yesterday...Nah...been there already this week.

Hummm...guess it's East or North. I'll let ya know how itturns out!! Sorry to those stuck in an office all day today.

actually, headed out to ride tonight. replaced all of the rocker gaskets late last night and need to road test 'er.

Yep... stuck in an office all day, that's me! Way overcast here in Central California today anyways. Man, must be nice to get into all those different states on a day trip! I count 8 states bordering Tennessee, is that right? Not that CentralCalifornia is not beautiful, it is, but as far as day trips go, we can get to Reno or Tahoe in Nevada, that's about it. Vegas is about 500 miles, Mexico is almost 700, Oregon is 500, Arizona about 600. And there is something about crossing state lines that is so much fun! At least there is ALOT of beauty in California!

Stuck in an office all day? Sounds horrible, and I think I'd rather spend the day in a jail cell.

But anyway, have fun, no matter which direction you end up going.

Yea, just rub it in. You got some rain last week, you probably need to be mowing the grass.
