RE: Opinions Please!
As far as the age factor, as they say, "foget aboud it". If the bike in the picture is the bike that you are considering buying, you will be ahead of the game by a long stretch. It looks like all of the accessories that all of us want and need are already on it. Good luck and, should you decide to buy it, let us know how you feel after doing it. Ride safe.

I'm glad you're considering getting a bike. You won't regret it. If vibration is an issue, perhaps look at '04-later Sportster models as HD rubber mounted the engine starting with the '04 model year. Many HD catalog accessories are also for '04-later models.
Good luck in your search and don't be afraid to post your questions here on the forum. There are lots of fellas and ladies that would be happy to help you out.

Great year, but get it checked out. I agree with others here, that is pretty low mileage for that year. Could have issues with crap in the lines, oil, etc... A friend of mine bought a used Honda Rebel with only 750 miles on it and the tank was rusted out as well as parts of the fuel lines and carb. Just be careful and take it to someone trustworthy.

I think if the price is fair, go for it. It is sometimes hard to see in a picture but it looks like it was garage kept at least... miles that low are not always a good thing... Even if you buy it before you get it looked at, make sure you take it some where right away to have them service it, and go over the entire bike... You can not relly go wrong in that vintage of Harley... Great engine!
She looks very sweet, GO FOR IT!

RE: Opinions Please!
Hi
Thank you all for your feedback, opinions and advice. All much apreciated and helpful.
To answer some of the questions,
Yes it is the bike in the picture.
Its an 883
Its being sold by a dealer (not a Harley specialist though they do have a few) And they will be servicing the bike before it leaves the shop.
I have checked it over pretty closely spending about an hour with it last night, I cant see any rust on it at all, The dealer told me that the previous owner kept it in his living room and just looked at it and polished it
The price......£4395 ($8,846)
They have also offered me a free Helmet and discount on wet weather gear and gloves!
The test ride is all booked for tomorrow at 1200 so hope it dont rain!!
