Oh, I checked your profile. Dunno about slightly larger tanks for an 04.

But I'm sure someone here will know.

Well peanut tank means small tank, so your not gonna get a bigger peanut tank......... But in terms of a bigger tank, you sure can do it. Depending on the year of the bike, some of the 90's bikes had the option for the king tank which is a little bigger available as a factory made tank that still shared the same stylings as the peanut tank, just a little wider. Otherwise as far as aftermarket, tank size is and shape is wide open, get what you want including the larger king tank, but the tanks are ussually raw metal, so you'll be responsible for getting it painted.

If you have the 3.3 gallon peanut tank you can upgrade to the 4.5 tank. Best advice is to not buy one from Harley. For example when I upgraded mine (vivid black) HD wanted 650 bucks, I got the same tank thru http://surdyke.com/for 420, and thats painted and already pressure tested. Go on any harley website, go to the color shop section find the part number that corresponds to your color and then go on the surdyke website. Don't know if you are looking to spend that kind of money though. If money isn't an issue and you like the peanut look you could always try to find someone who can make a custom one for you.
