The manual says 3.6 quarts. Should I dump 3.6 quarts and forget about it, or check it? What is your experience with this...Oh, and if I don't change the filter (it's only been on there for 2K miles) how many quarts then? Thanks...

 

3 quarts with filter, then run it, and check it, most of the time I only get a little over 3 qts.

 

Yep, 3 quarts Max.and that includes the 6oz. in the filter. The 3.6 number applies to a "factory dry" engine only.

 

Yep more than 3 qts and your gonna have a mess..oil every where....one of my friends done that lol
