Default S&S Carb

I'm looking for a good deal on an S&S for my '06 1200L. I hate to think I have to pay $450 for one. Any suggestions? My carb is sucking air and I have no warrantee.

I don't know of any bargins on the S&S. The stock CV carb. on your bike is a good unit that is typically very reliable. Are you sure it's the carb. leaking and not a manifold gasket of vacuum line? Even if the carb. is leaking, they are pretty simple to rebuild and would cost a lot less than a new carb.

It's not the manifolds or gaskets. The guy that's been working on it is a certified Harley mechanic and he's been around here for a long time so I trust him. He's stumped too. A CV carb is about as expensive as an S&S. I'll look into the rebuild. THANKS!
