Well went down to demo days at the local dealer yesterday, sadly there wasa limited selection of bikes to ride and no Rocker.
It was well organized with hot dogs, burgers, pop & coffee and I was able to take four rides. It was a bit of a drag to have to go in a pack rather than off by yourself but I'm sure that would cause mass confusion.
Here's what I was able to ride and my opinion:
Dyna Street Bob: Nice ride, good power, good handlingbut just didn't seem to have much personality as it was not really sporty nor all that great as a cruiser.
Electra Glide Classic: Very nice ride, very nice seat, quiet & smooth, not much power especiallyat higher speeds, great all day cruiser but plan your speed on off ramps and sharp curves as this isn't a bike you can throw around.
Street Glide: Very nice ride, good seat, good handling, very nice bike to ride other than I would need a taller windshield as the buffeting was quite bad. Overall a very nice bike.
Buell XB12R Firebolt:Very fast, very good handling, very good brakes,VERY uncomfortable. I was going to say that it would be great fun to rent foran hour but I would spend most of that time sitting in front of a police car waiting for them to write the tickets.
Overall a great day and hope I don't offend any owners of the above bikes bikes but I sure was glad to be riding home on my Sporty!!!
