What's the lowest speed you can ride at in 1st gear without feathering the clutch?

Default What's the lowest speed you can ride at in 1st gear without feathering the clutch?
I'm new to Harleys here, so I have what may be a dumb question.

What's the lowest speed you can ride at in 1st gear without feathering the clutch? (Without the bike shaking like it's going to stall any second, of course.)

No pressure on the clutch lever.

It seems to me like I have to be over 10 mph.

nope,...more closely to 3mph. Ever seen a slow drag?

3 mph with no hand on the clutch? Maybe I'm thinking the engine is lugging too much when it really isn't.

yea I think so,.....3mph is about the speed people walk at,....I can idle this speed pretty easy with no clutch,............course I'm on a bagger,....might be different for other bikes .

have to feather the clutch my bike at 8-10 mph or it wants act up.
