Who's Tried to Shift into a non existing 6th gear
This, to me, is what is a deciding factor that you need a bigger bike..... I also, have been thinking
about it....

I don't think I have ever owned a bike that I didn't occasionally look for another gear. It's the brain, not the bike.

been there, done that! actually should be, "been there, do it every time I get on the superslab.".
Hopefully someday HD will drop a 6th into the Sporty.?.?.

I ride an 06 softail standard and am always trying to grab "6th" gear.
I agree with 1of2, it's a brain thing, if I had a 6th gear I would probably be trying to shift into 7th.

I pretty much do this everyday. And I'm certain, that one day, I'm gonna find a way to get her into 6th.

I do it every day, I gave that some thought this morning on the ride in. Thought about asking that very same question. How crazy is that?
