Hey Omaha NE. Riders
I seen a post where Texas is making it law that sensors at stop lights recognize motorcycles.
I did a little research and found the guy in Omaha that is responsible for the inductive loops that control our signals, and complained that 98% of the signals in Omaha won't recognize a motorcycle he replied back and said send him the locations and they will check them and adjust as necessary.
His e-mail address is mgaughen@ci.omaha.ne.us
I would put in the subject line Inductive Loops and Motorcycles.
Send him the intersections that you travel and have problems with the signals.
WTF it may help!
