I love it! My old RD400 was set up cafe style as well. Beautiful work.

WOW.
Your build is a cafe racer.
How's it handle ie any noticeable chassis flexes?
How's the suspension rebound and compression for "cafe-ing" ie what did you find/ notice?
Ground/ corner clearance looks good.
Do I see a reverse (4 down 1 up) shifter?
PS What a great project; is it ever done
Truly wow, very nice.

Very nice. As for paint, I'd leave it alone. I think it looks good as is. Then again the pics may not show the true condition of the paint. Its hard to tell sometimes.

Given the exhaust you chose, you might give this a read: https://www.hammerperf.com/ttxlexhaust.shtml#rsdtracker
There's a very simple mod you can do that really helps the performance of that pipe.

Rear sets have great ground clearance but I think I'm going back to mid controls. The right side is too close to the exhaust. It gets hot on the ankle and I'm afraid to melt some boot on that side. It is regular 1 down, 4 up. No chassis flexing noticed. It rides great, sounds great. Just tweaking the riding position with the foot controls at this point.
