Default New Texas Motorcycle Legislation

I did the grueling job of reading through all 600 bills that were passed. The one JW Oldfenderguy was refering to, shot down stricter helmetless rules..YES!!!! However. There is a law passed starting September 1st making it mandatory requiring stop lights to have sensors that detect motorcycles. Is this awesome or what?? I got to send those lobbiests some Scotch!!!!!

Finally! Sometimes if I appoach the intersection on the sensor seam in the pavement, it works pretty well. Other lights? Nope! Hell, I had to run a red light just this morning! Wait....wait....wait...wait...Oh, screw it! Nobody's coming! This is good news! I hate running lights.

What's a stop light???

In the large county where I live we don't have a single stop light, and not even a single flashing stop/warning light. LoL...

I believe someone said that we are the only county in the state that doesn't have a single stop light....

Talk about living out in the 'boondocks'.....

I've put a big rare earth magnet on the bottom of my frame and the lights seem to work now. I just make sure to pull upover the sensors. Bad thing is you get little metal things stuck to the magnet[&o]

Don't get too excited about the sensors, Dallas. We have them here in the Orlando area and rarely can I get one to actually do what they're supposed to. I've sat through light cycles, moving the bike back and forth and so on, but the sensors would only trigger the lights when a cage rolled up. Hopefully the ones that Texas will implement work better than the ones here.

Every light should be on a sensor. If no one is using a light it should never change.Changing lights for no reason is the most stupid thing ever. Here in and around Cleveland,Ohio we have lights that just change for no reason. You end up sitting there and no one goes through the light that is green but there will be 10 cars sitting at the red light.VERY VERY DUMB!!!
