Default Drag racing my new sporty

I just got back from drag racing my 07 1200 custom last weekend. My bike has the stage 1 done as well as V&H shortshots. My best time was 13.13@100. Just wondering if anyone else has tried to race one of these. Fellow riders in the area seemed quite impressed with this time. Would love to hear from others.

I just found out that our local raceway has fun run drags every friday night for $25.00, can't go tonight but I think I will try to go next friday. I would like to do a couple of runs just out of curiosity, will post the time when I do.

Thats pretty good for a stage 1, what was the temp and humidity when you ran? I saw a time of 12.96 at 105.

With some practice a strong stage 1 rubbermount sportster should be able to get into the 12's.

I guess I'm a wuss. I could never put my equipment (two wheeled and four wheeled) thru that type of treatment.

If I wanted to drag race I would of bought a rice burner, I take good care of my stuff, and its always paided off in the pass, when I sell it.
