A lot of work has been done there and it looks like it is completely showroom new, so I don't think there is any real price comparison between the two. Personally I think keeping it an 883 and just taking weight off the bike was the right move for a scrambler if it's truely going to be seeing offroad use. I think this looks like an excellent build. My only objection is the wrapped pipes. Is there a reason the wrap is somewhat loose? Lowbrow customs has some cool heat shields that would look pretty sweet on this bike.
Yes, I agree with you.
It's basically a tall suspension Sporty set up for the adventure bike scene. The triple foot pegs, crash bar with off-road lights and detachable windshield are all functional for the theme. When I put the bike together, I intended to install aluminum panier hard bags like on one of those adventure bikes like the Triumph Tiger.
I was simply pointing out that a scrambler / off-road / adventure style Harley has a very limited market. Most of the kids wanting something like this just don't have the cash laying around. You just have to be patient and wait for that one particular buyer.

It's what my eye comes back to as well. I wrapped them separately and then together. I think I'll redo the rear portion of the wrap. Good feedback. Cheers,

Looks like it's finally selling for $5,900. Thanks to all who provided feedback (and here are the pipes wrapped separately):

$1000 cash says it’s not 100lbs lighter than stock. Not even close. Maaaaybe 50lbs

Just reading what the scale says, Mad..
Double checked and it's 480 right now. So, 99 lbs (assuming slightly more gas this time).
That rear wheel/belt drive is heavy. Add the fenders, rear frame rail, mufflers, passenger pegs, seat, , stock batter, extra chrome, etc. Adds up.
I'd love to take your money though, haha.
