I appreciate your service, downzero. Comparing this to a stock Sporty is not at all an apple-to-apple. Thanks,

I am using the 15" stilettos. I find them comparable to stock as far as performance goes. I prefer YSS in the same price range though (comparing them to other builds I've done).

@Huxmoto on instagram if you want to see non-HD builds. Cheers,

I just sold this 2001 1200 for $2800. I was considering buying 91 - 03 Sportys, converting them like this and flipping them. It's a tough market if you're hoping to make a big profit.

That looks like a great deal for $2800. My buddy buys XT225s and DRZ400s for around that price, and most of them need some work.

Yea, I had it listed for $4500 but it's a pretty limited market and wasn't selling. I needed the room in the garage. Very fun bike.

Can you explain what exactly you changed and/or removed to lose 100 lbs? That's a lot of weight.

It's not far off. The only major difference I see is the tires and suspension.

That looks like a "Legacy" fuel tank, I bought one for my XL883N but I never got round to having it painted and installed, it's been stored in my bedroom for about four years.

I agree 100%. I have a drag bike xl that weighs 405lbs wet. You have to ditch the boat anchor wheels and front end if you’re dropping a 100 bones off a solid mount.
