What all is in the kit for an 07' 1200C. I don't see any ign parts in the take off box. Hope I got what I paid for! DP

 

What came in the kit?

 

I thought Stage 1 was just an air cleaner for the most part.

 

Here's what I paid for:

22718-07A/DT XL 1200 Stage 1 digi
29782-07 Stage 1 EFI kit
80503-07 Kit Muff slash down

Don't know what the first 2 items include. I know I got the pipes and air cleaner but no other parts in the take off box. DP

 

First one could be the cd to tune the PCM. Second is the A/C and third is the pipes.

 

Are you doing it yourself or the stealer? I did the pipes and A/C myself and took it to a Indy for the carb jet and a dyno tune.The 07 are the first sporty with EFI. Sounds like Dallas is write he has the same year model as yours.

 

I'm probably OK then, had some things happen with the dealer that made me mistrust them a little ( hate that ). Bike runs good. DP

 

On another note, I have talked to several people and read several posts about the 07's OBDII PCM doing a relearn once you help it breathe better. I have 3600 miles on my bike now and just opened the pipes. When I first did the pipe mods it would almost die and backfire often on a compression gear down slow down. Now it rarely pops and mostly when it is cold. The negative part of it is, the programming will compensate only within a certain range and still needs the new programming.
