Default Lowering shocks

Want to lower the back of my bike slightly. What do you recommend?

I would recommend a search using various words...there are a TON of discussions/opinions/suggestions. Non air favorite seem to be the Progressive 422s and don't go nuts with amount dropped. John

put on weight.that will make it slightly lower.just kidding.i hear progressive 412's are the way to go.

Progressive 412's. Call them and they'll tell you which ones you need.I got the 11.5 HD's and it sits nicely.

I put Progresive's 412 Series 11" shocks on the OL's '04 1200C. I had to booger out the holes in the belt guard to make it sit lower because the top of the belt guard was hitting the bottom of her bob-tail fender. There may or may not be contact with a factory rear fender. We've ridin' 2-up with this configuration with the preload set all the way up. She rides it solo on the softest setting with no further issues. She's about 125# and I'm 210#.
Riding behind her, I see that her pipes get close to dragging when she takes a turn aggressivly, but they've never touched down. A different rider might find the pipes hit.
