RE: What do you do for a living?
I am a software system test engineer working with cellular phone Base Station Subsystems at the current moment but I have worked on from landline central office to satellite gateway communications systems for almost 20 years. I have just purchased a used 05 1200r with 4700 miles on it two months ago after more than 20 years off the saddle of a Suzuki GS550 due to family and kids. I love all manufatures of bike! Most of them are work of arts and beautiful to me. I am a naturalized American citizen and it's obvious that I support quality American Made products 100%, I bought the Sportster because not only it's "mostly" American Made but it has been improving drastically interm of quality and reliability from the 2004 model on; The 1200R also has a beautifull "lean" look in my eyes and it fits me well with my light 170 lbs 5'9" frame. Anyhow, be happy and thankful of what you own, it does not matter of make of the bike, and take care of it and it will take care of you. Merry Christmas to each and everyone's family and wish you all the best wishes in this holliday seasons! Be safe and ride on!

I retired at an early age as a Construction Engineer/Construction Manager for medical reasons. After being cured, I became a Fixed Wing Patrol Pilot (Cessna 180) for a local Law Enforcement Agency. Retired from that and then was called back to provide day to day law enforcement in the open desert. I get to patrol in a four-wheel drive vehicle and make contact with everyone that I see in 140 square miles of desert and desert mountains. They even let me do patrols on my Honda XR 400 R into the more difficult places to reach. I retire for good in 18 more months. .............. BC
