I used to do a lot of band photography and I have to agree with jonny e, at all the gigs I went to over the years where there were Goth chicks, nearly all of them were huge.

 

LOL, The name is GothMetalGuitarist because of an old email of mine. I am more shred metal than anything. In fact, I just got back from one of the best concerts I have ever been too at Jones Beach, Long Island. Dream Theater (My favorite band and basically the best band in the world), Redemption (Featuring Ray Alder from Fates Warning/old friend of mine) and a new band from Canada called "Into Eternity" (A mixture of death and theater style progressive).

My fav guitarists are John Petrucci, Steve Vai, Satch, SRV, Hendrix, John Murphy (Testament), Basically if they play with a mixture of rich phrasing and blatent speed I like them.

I have seen my share of skin...and I will leave it at that (Because my girlfriend reads these forums too)

So don't be mislead by GOTH in my name. It should be more like PROGMetalGuitarist but it is what it is..

Testament does rule, Murphy not so much... Skolnick rulz!!! Very nice guy too. Have had the opportunity to hang out with him a couple of times. Dream Theater sucks IMO, but Petrucci is awesome. What about Yngwie? Maybe this is off topic... love a good music debate though. Have to weigh in whenever a guitar debate is raised. Been playing for almost 15 years.

 

whats your opinion of Michael Angelo Batio? I saw himput on a guitar "clinic" for dean guitars at a sam ash a few weeks ago. played about 2 hours including that double neck axe.the guys kinda quirky but can he ever shred!

 

Nothin' like gettin a jock full of ball gravy slap you up side theface while ripping on your axe.
