I ordered mine exactly a week ago today after being told they could get me a new one in 7 days. I rang middle of the week for a precise date (spoke to different person)so I could arrange insurance and was told it wasnt actually ordered until the Monday (I went in Saturday) and it would be 7 to 10 days. I rang again yesterday for a precise date and was told by a different person again they didnt know what I was talking about as the 08 models werent available until September in the UK and they would try to get it ready for me the middle of the next week. Apart from nearly tearing my hair out (what little there is left of it) I'm really getting pissed of with the dealers staff. It feels likethey automatically lie to me at every opportunity available. I'd previously been in there to look at a second hand bike I'd seen on their web site but was told it was in there warehouse. They offered to get it out for me to look at but that it would take 3 or 4 days. I asked if it would be possible for me to view it at the warehouse but was told no. Later that day I hapened to visit the same dealers other branch some miles away. Guess what, there was the bike I'd been trying to view. Sadly they are the only Harley dealership within travelling distance of me. But after experience thus far I really dont feel I would be confident of any advice or recommendation they might give me in the future if any problems were to arise.

brb302, congrats on your new bike. The wait, while torture, will be worth it.
Photo, if there is ANY way you can go to the dealer in person that often helps because you can just stand there and keep asking to see whoever it is you need to see to get a straight answer.Plus they don't like their other customers to see an unhappy one.
