Isn't it just engine and tranny oil change? I'm going to do my own when the time comes. The dealer tries to make you feel you need to bring it in, one visit will pay for the manual. DP

I did first service at the dealer, but only because it was included with buying the bike.

And now after going to a dealer that actually works on the bikes, I know why it was free!

Stay away fron iron valley H-D! Sales is ok , but service SUCKS OUT LOUD!!!!

Just to add a little perspective...8K service on Honda Shadow 750 (includes valve adjustment) w/ 3 qts synthetic oil...$382.72, and I waited four hours for it.

Yup, if you can read, then you can work on your own bike.

I paided and I didn't pay, it was included in the sale of the bike when I bought it.

But While I was there waiting for the service, I noticed it was about $225.
