Travel with someone who has saddlebags Used to ride with a guy who hated anything with 2 up seats and saddlebags, but boy when we were going somewhere or got towhere we were going he would always ask me to put stuff inmy bags.

For that money and your indication that you're interested in 3 day road trips, I'd say Road King. Those are sweet looking bikes... plus the model with the hard bags looks tight when you take the windscreen off, and the hard bags are way more attractive than the leather bags.

I don't care for it at all. To me it is little more than a bar-hopper.

If I was to trade my bike, it would be a wide glide. If I was to buy another bike it would be a dresser.

Boulevard bike. I'd like one if I had lots of money, but it doesn't suit my needs as my only bike. Doesn't look like much of a tourer, and that back tire has to cost $300 to replace. I'll stick with my XL1200R with its ugly saddlebags (cheap waterproof nylon) and its uglier windshield

I don't like it.

It looks a discarded blueprint was found by some MOCO engineer while dumpster diving behing the Victory factory.

I think they will sell, I think some of the younger riders are really going to like them and I think HD will make some bags that will fit it. I remember reading that somewhere. My wife and son think they are going to like them, especially the son. He says it looks cools as h3ll. But then again he thinks some of the Victory look good. Hey if it will convert him over, I'm all for it.

I think Harley is looking to put a dent in all the chopper companies (Orange County, Big Dog, etc.). Most likely will be bought by folks who want a chopper with a 2-year warranty and can't afford one from the custom builders; not that this thing is going to be cheap. It's just a bar-hopper for bar-hopping riders (ever see a chopper with bags?)

Might as well get out Mr Bubble, because if you trade a late model Sportie in on a Rocker, you are going to take a bath. I suggest selling your XL even if it takes 6 months to get your price and Rockers will be in mass production by then. Anyone that believes each dealer will only get four 2008 Rockers for the entire model year are only fooling themselves. The base model Rocker looked better in person than the Rocker "C".

I like the look, but I have been told (by the owner of our dealership) that availability will be very scarce indeed. He was informed by a MOCO rep that, "production has been delayed on the Rocker & Rocker C." This is not good news, as we have already pre-sold several through the first of the year [:@]
