Hi all,

Which would be the better seat to buy, the Corbin Close Solo or the HD Reach Solo? I'm looking to move slightly closer to the handlebars. I know that the corbin solo's can attach a backrest. When I ride on the freeway for over 45 mins, my back and legs starts hurting. It may be the forward controls that causes this problem. I hope that the seat selection can remedy this problem so I dont have to fork out $$$ to upgrade to closer handlebars.

I had a Corbin Close Solo on my Fat Boy at one time. Loved it. GREAT back support, even without the backrest.

 

i have a corbin on mine, it also has the backrest went from 50 miles needing a break to 175 and i stopped then cuz i needed GAS! back was fine!

Dont no what year sportster you have but on my 2002 put the stock 2004 handle bars on and moved the reach back a couple of inches an puts your hands in very comfortable position, only cost around 50.00 and didnt have to change any cables just longer bracket for brakeline.

 

My Sportster is 2006 1200 Custom. I'm gonna keep watching for a good deal on a Corbin Close Solo. Geez, they're expensive.
