Alot like motorcycles I've owned every kinda of firearm the avg person can own but no longer own any guns.

I know that in 1968 I would have bought a Harley if they had a bike in 300-500 cc range. I visited a dealer, they showed me that little 125, 150, whatever, no way. So I got a Honda 305 Scrambler, bulky, high pipes, later a 500. It would be 30 more years to a Sportster. What would I and others done if there had been a 600cc V-Twin left side shift Harley, would that have added riders or taken away from Sportster.

IDK what there is about the Sportster (Evos anyway) that makes them unforgettable and have a more fierce loyalty & devotion than a terrorist to Allah but they do. I think its the combination of the HD v-twin rumble and the nimbleness. I tried riding a BT but I honestly feel like a OMC/Wild Hogs poser on a Barcolounger. I honestly wouldn't do the all too common 1200 conversion even if I could.

The Sportster would have been very different if this KLX prototype SOHC motor had been put into production instead of the more familiar OHV motor.
