Hi everyone I picked up a 2006 XL1200C with 17k on it about a year ago. I’m around 20k now and wanting more out of my bike. Stock engine with v&h pipes. I’m very happy with the way the bike looks so I don’t mind investing money into the bike for more power. All advice and options are appreciated!

 

Hp1275, Hp 560’s and some of their delicious head porting. A 42 mikuni and powervision.

Yeah it looks to me like the only big bang for your buck comes from the 883 to 1200 upgrade. Once you do that you're back to squeezing HP.

 

I've considered just spraying mine. I've got a mother bottle sitting in my garage because I spray my car.

I can give you guys an example. On my bike I can comfortably spray a 30 shot. That 30 shot as small as it sounds is three times more power than a set of 1275 jugs & pistons would give me.

 

Here's what's in my Wife's 04 1200 C. Hammer 570 cams, 1275 kit, Mikuni HSR 42, Vance & Hines slip-on mufflers with DK Custom baffles and a Dynatek ignition. It's a BEAST with a nasty cam lopey idle.

 

And just like that, another story of a sprayed street sporty that doesn’t exist. You can also do the infamous 1340 kit too haha
