Recommendations for handlebar compass and/or phone mounts for Sportster 1200 Low

I had one of these dedicated USB power ports on my '11 Custom to charge my phone or have a Garmin GPS on my bars. Ran it from the battery and under the tank to the bars. I switched it to my RK since it gets most of the saddle time and mostly for the long rides now.

Depending on how the electronics work in a USB port converting 12 volts to 5 even when not in use it might be drawing a small amount of current. That is why personally I am not in favour of going direct to the battery or using the tender connector; just my choice.
Yes it is connector 31 and pins 3 and 4.

I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a decent, reasonably priced compass that will clip onto the stock handlebars of a 2008 XL1200L. I lean towards analog, but wouldn't rule out digital.
I'd also appreciate recommendations for reliable phone mounts.
A phone mount/compass combo would be ideal, but I'm fine with separate products.
