Any recomendations for a louder, deeper, horn for my 883. The MOCO should be ashamed of themselves with this queer, lame, piece of crap. Its an embarassment...

 

mine sounds fine.. waaay better than the horn on my buddys crotch rocket.

 

It is lame, $3.00 at any auto wrecker for a used car horn, try to find one on a Cadillac or Lincoln.
Or you could spend tons of money on a fancy HD or aftermarket horn that is not as loud.

 

Take a look at the horn used on the 1200 C models,it's much louder.

 

The nightster has a cheesy horn too. I hate it!it's loud enough,but it sounds like a jap bike or old vw beetle. WTF?H-D


Will a caddy horn mount right up? Do the H-D horn covers work with that?

 

 

I have this one.It is as loud as a car horn.The only thing that could be better if it was mounted to sound in front of the bike instead of sounding on the side http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US Now that I look at it that link is just for the cover.I bought it on Ebay thinking I was just getting the cover but it also had the horn too.I'm not sure what horn is in there but it is loud.

Yeah I can't believe they would put in import car horn on an American icon.

 

All motorcycles have crappy stock horns in my opinion. I put an air horn on one of the bikes I had owned in the past. It really kicked azz. People in cars would jump when I honked it. I would recommend it. I want one like Dan shows here. Looks good...
