RE: Friggin running out of gas w/ NO warning
The sudden cut out when you run out of gas isalso a consequence of running with a single carb. Bikes I've owned (& run out of gas on) in the past with twin or multiple carbs spit & fart about for a good few seconds before dying completely & give you more chance to switch onto reserve, I suppose the gas remaining in the float bowls or fuel supply to the different carbs must be exhausted at slightly different rates.[/align]

I have got 148 on my 3.3 gallon tank before going to reserve then I have also had 132, depends on brand of gas type of riding who knows....I always try to fill up at around 120 miles usually costs me about 6 bucks ....works for me
