883-1200 jetting
Hi all! I have just picked up an 88 sportster 883 that was converted to a 1200. I checked the plugs and found it to be way lean. So I checked the jets and it had the original 883 jets in it.
the main jet is a 170 and the pilot is a 35. Curious to see what I should up the jetting to without buying 10 different jets

Everything you need to know about CV Carb jetting is here, enjoy the read and knowledge:

You will find a chart in this link that shows the stock carb & jetting for specific years of the Sportster 883 & 1200, probably should go with the stock configuration for a 1200 of your model year:

You bike is also running lean it your drag pipes so not have baffles.
