Default Sportster hardtail project

Finally done with my build. It’s a 2002 sportster 883c. I installed a 1200 s&s hooligan kit on it. Entered it in a show and won best custom to my surprise! As it sits now it’s more of a rat bike. I’m going to be tearing down this winter and rebuilding into something completely different, can’t wait to get started!!!

I used lowbrow customs hardtail which is made by gasbox out of Cleveland Ohio. It is a really nice kit with perfect welds. Easy install as well. The bike breathes pretty good. I do notice some oil coming out of the air cleaner but I think that has to do with the fact that I bought it at auto zone and made it work on my bike.

Nice job!! Finally a sportster with parallel pipes! I always hated the crooked pipes on most sporty's.

Congrats! Some would say that what you've done is bad, (these opinionated dorks), but if it's what you like, good for you! It's still a free country, barely.

After this summer, I’ll be tearing down and rebuilding a completely different bike.

Found this fender in a used motorcycle parts shop. I loved the fact that it was painted black and had a lot of patina to it.

S&S sidewinder 1200 kit I installed. Less weight in the bike after cutting the whole rear end off, and this thing really rips. It’s a lot of fun.

I took the stock wire harness out and built my own. I have a toggle switch on the headlight hi, lo and off.

Has 4 fuses to run everything on the bike.
