Unhappy Is this Bad?

The small brace on the front of the frame (that is used for Engine guards and other accessories) is starting to split.
Is my frame compromised?
What would you do?

Looks like it is corrosion damage first of all.

Me personally? I'd grind that bubble gum crap off and reweld it. Heat and vibration are a welds worse enemies...throw in a little corrosion and it's only a matter of time. Clean, weld, paint...ride.

It’s repairable, but I would get it repaired
