Speedometer doesn’t show my speed!
I just swapped out the bars on my bike and the speedometer stopped showing my speed and not recording new mileage, I checked the fuses I believe there’s only 3 on the 2020 sportster and they’re good , does anybody have a wiring diagram for the 2020 model year and part number for speed sensor I can’t seem to find one for my year online.

Wiring diagram - 94000729_1391526_en_US - 2020 Wiring Diagram Wall Chart | Harley-Davidson SIP
Your bike uses CAN to communicate data to the speedo and controls from the handlebars. Maybe you have pinched one of the bus wires.
Does everything else work? Are there any codes stored? Use info here - Harley Trouble Codes (fuelmotousa.com)

See you got some good advice.
Now make sure you post your next new post over in the new member area..

Just in case you have not done this.
Add a Signature Line in your USER set up for your bike year, model, and all the letters that Harley recognizes it with so others see at the bottom of all your post. This enables others to know your exact model if you ever ask a question.
And an Avatar of your favorite shot in the USER set up for the small picture others will see in the top left corner of your post.
Your all set.... Enjoy the ride! ______________

You don’t need a speed sensor you need to undo all the wiring you did when you changed the bars and find the problem, it will be either a pinched wire, poorly connected wire, loose connector, wire left not connected or a wire connected wrong.

What I think also.
Seems to be st least one a week on here on bar changes.
Especially bad when one goes inside the bars. But pins in the wrong hole is especially easy to do.
And wireing diagrams can be like playing chest trying to visualize 10 moves ahead. Pin # on one side, wire in other side and what the wire diagram shows takes experience.
You should tag everything and sketch a diagram of ever plug before pulling pins.
The little retainers on the pins quite often need tweeked up so it stays put or when you plug it in, it pushes out. May even work a day or two like that.
If the wires are tight pulling thru, you are cutting the insulation.
Any exit hole in bars should be carefully rounded and a rubber grommet used.
