I didnt even know they had springs. My front suspension isnt much better than the rear. What all is involved with modding them?
Front Forks
With the changing of the springs, there is much less bounce. ALSO... my ride doesnt vibrate on the highway like it did before. Amazing, I was diggin it so much, I took over the highway and drove it like I owned it.

Unscrewing the top fork nut, pulling the spring out, filling the fork oil level (if needed), dropping in the new spring and spacer and tightening the nut. My mechanic has the stock for that size nut (1.5" ??) and it didnt scratch the chrome. Took him about 10 minutes.

Wow, now I know exactly where my next dollar(s) will be spent on my '07 XL1200C. I've been bottoming out on what I consider to be moderate bumps and have even been hesitant to expose the wife to any 2 up riding because of that. I'm 225-230 ( depending on how many pitchers went down the night before) so it sounds like the heavy duty ones on a middle setting are the way to go. I'll let you know as soon as it gets done what my impressions are.
