Size matters. Try them all on for fit. Deer Leather gloves are very supple. Some like Kangaroo skin for its supplness also plus kanga is a tougher leather in case of an abrashion incident.

I wear carhartt work gloves when it is warm and cold, they are slightley insulated, but perfect for all types of riding.

I'm gonna try those Carhartt gloves, I think. I've got a pair of HD perforateds but they just don't hang on my hands very well.[:@]

I have to work but thanks for the offer.
Hey Sporty Pig did you ride in that Patriot Guard mission for Jim Shefferthat left Florida on Friday and will end up at Arlington later today? I'm riding this morning where the NC crew will be handing it over to the Virginia crew. I'd like to meet you if you are with them.

Helimot H20s...kangaroo in the palm is safe and very thin so it has a good feel. Not cheap ($220 if I remember), but neither are my hands.

Previously, had some custom made with deer...also on the thinner side and very abrassion-resistant. Even custom made, these were only $120.

Harley gauntlet gloves for winter, fingered motorcycle gloves for spring and fall, and "gayass" fingerless gloves for summer. I like the fingerless--lets me scratch my chin and pick my nose. Admittedly the gauntlets are not very comfortable to ride with, but they do keep my hands nice and toasty in February and let me keep my mind on the road rather than wondering what the freek I'm doin' riding out there in that freezing weather.

PS: If you do get a set of gloves, look for ones with the built-in curve in the fingers made for grasping motorcycle grips. Those automotive types tend to bunch up.

I don't know why I keep thinking you are in NC.
Whew it was a long day. I left the house about 6:15am and got home about 8:30pm. I went ahead and rode with the group all the way to Arlington and i put on about 550 miles today. I'm tired but happy we could give Jim a good send off.

Oh yea and just to stay on topic, yesI had on my fingerless gloves today. They made iteasier to unscrew the cap off the damn oil container whenI had to use a whole quart today. [:@]
