I have seen the videos you are talking about but thought these were different. Seems so easy in the video to the rings

Will try it out fingers crossed.

One of the rings got loose after lots of tries however the 2nd one didnt move.

I guess I just have to find some used ones. Any recomandations on which to search for a comfortable ride for a 165lbs driver and sometimes with a passanger of 143lbs

If I could be confident in a supplier I would say go for Bitubo. They have 7 or so different springs with linear and progressive springs. Only DK customs in America give me confidence in the information they ask.

I tried to explain to a supplier here and all they said is if you want to you can give us your weight as if it would make no difference to the spring that would be on the shocks.

Hagon Shocks seem to have a good range with good bang for buck.

Progressive offer standard or heavy spring which is not ideal, you just have to be the right weight for them to work. I asked them once about rider weight and other stuff and they seemed very vague at the time with no range of weight the springs are designed for.

One thing though is if you can use a longer shock to get more travel it makes for a better ride.
