Default Suggestions for " online repair help"

Looking for advice finding an " on line" Harley mechanic service for " long distance repair".
I live in Central America, retired Grunt.
have my 2003 Sportster here, with some problems.
my main problem is, no Harley dealers or repair shops here. No trained motorcycle mechanics. I have to ship in parts, and do repairs myself.
any suggestions besides having a " Clymer Harley-Davidson Manual" ( I have), would really be appreciated.
youtube videos are great, but don't replace a good mechanic.
thanks in advance

A genuine Harley Davidson Service Manual would be better than the Clymer one. You can ask questions here and get pretty good advice as there are a lot of folks that are mechanics or have repaired motorcycles.

Other sources of information are here:

No worries about that, no one here will make that suggestion...

Get the genuine Harley Davidson service manual.

Don`t be shy about asking questions.

Welcome to the forum.

It might be worth trying https://www.fixmyhog.com

Membership is by paid subscription, but it might just be worthwhile in your position.

Short of finding someone willing to do something like a tutoring you through a job using facetime or some such thing I think this might be your best option.
Good luck.

I did a quick search and found this.
https://www.justanswer.com/motorcycle/
Have no clue about whether it is any good or not but you may want to give it a shot.
And as others have said, there is a lot of knowledge here in the model specific forums.

I tried Fix My Hog. I didn't like it. You have found the best place on the web to get advice right here. Get the factory service manual and use YouTube. The only problem here is some repair threads go unnoticed. Try to use ***** in the title and you'll get a quicker response.
