You want a Fender Extender laddie, Kuryakyn do an attractive one in either black or chrome.

If anyone else is looking for XL1200T, the only one I can find is made by Pyramid Plastics - Pyramid Extenda Fenda | Matte Black | Harley Davidson Sportster 1200 T | Pyramid Plastics (pyramid-plastics.co.uk) but available from other places.

On a 2017 Sportster you will rip the jiffy stand spring mount off before the skid plate protects the underside of the frame.
