Sportster tail light conversion wiring
I recently picked up the Eagle Lights LED tail light to go on my 2011 Sportster 1200 48, as it has a chopped fender and I wanted a cleaner look than the twin bullet style signals. The new tail light has a brake light as well as separate signals.
Looking at the wiring on the bike, either side has a purple, blue, and black wire. Purple looks to be the turn signal and the brake light for one side, so how would I go about wiring the brake light separate from the turn signal if possible? Is there a wire I can splice into or a module I can buy instead?
Thanks!

I am guessing your bike has the converter module. If you want to split out the brake light and running light from the indicators you will need to remove it as can be seen in the wiring diagram. Trace each wire back from connector 7 to the main harness to see what its function is.
