How many of you out there learned how to ride a motorcycle on a dirtbike before getting on a streetbike?

2 stroker? 4 stroker? Year/Model?

I learned on a 1976 Honda XL125 dirtbike that my brother gave me back in 7th grade.

Been two wheelin' ever since!

Started on a 1970 Honda CT70.

Raced a bunch of motocross on 2 strokes when I was in my 20's and 30's. Got busted up pretty good and now I have some replacement parts. It's true, They can rebuild you.

Hadfew Harley's a few sportbikes and still have some minis in the garage next to the Glide.

 

I started on one of those little mini bikes with a "big & strappin" 3 HP 4 stroke rototiller engine when I was about 9, probibly had more fun on that than any of the dozen bikes I've had since.

 

.been riding since i was 3 or 4 on a honda 50

 

Started out on a Sears or whatever it was minibike like Hotlap described, then I had a 2 stroke 125 Yamaha Enduro bike which was fun as hell riding and jumping hills with.

 

1983 SUZUKI PE 175!!!!

 

Started out when i was 7 with a mini bike with 5 horses of fury then to a 78 puch 50 dirt bike, honda xr250, suzuki rm125, buell blast, honda shadow spirit 750, suzuki dr650se, suzuki gsxr750 and now the harley. I started working when i was 13 to get my own dirt bike for my self with the 250 then it kind of turned into a habit.

 

 

I started on a 5 hp mini,then honda 50's the step thru 70's and 90's, then the 1970's Kawaski KE's 125,175 and 250

Then just about every make street bike at one time or another, Going racing this weekend on my 510cc husky

 

Started on a Honda 50, then a 125, then had a couple four wheelers. Nothing but street bikes from then on.
